Test a complete order
Choose a product, select a variant, add it to the basket, enter a supported delivery address and complete each payment option in its approved test mode. Check confirmation pages, customer emails, stock updates and staff notifications.

Explain costs before the final step
Unexpected delivery charges and unclear payment options create avoidable hesitation. State the delivery coverage, pricing basis, return terms and any product exclusions. Make it clear when a custom quote or manual confirmation is required.
Handle failure and cancellation
What happens when payment fails, stock changes or a customer submits twice? A test should include these cases. Make the order state understandable to staff and customers without pretending an unpaid order is paid.
Measure the important events
Review product views, add-to-cart actions, checkout starts and confirmed orders. Ensure test transactions and duplicate events do not distort reporting. Analytics should follow the actual order state, with privacy controls appropriate to the setup.
